BÜYÜ is a new brand of hand-made scented candles from Turkey. Each candle of this brand is special, because it is dedicated to a specific city in Turkey. By lighting a candle, you plunge into the atmosphere of the city and can feel the vibe of this place. The first collection of BÜYÜ the includes candles dedicated to this cities: Bodrum, Antalya and Istanbul.
The task: to develop the logo and brand identity. It is important to reflect the warm atmosphere, to reveal the brand's idea - scented candles inspired by Turkish cities and to emphasize the brand’s magic mood (büyü - magic in Turkish). When candles are lit, magic happens, this meaning embedded in the name of the brand.
The solution: created the logo with soft lines and stars to give the logo a magical touch. For brand identity were chosen warm colors to empathise the cozy atmosphere.
In the brand identity has made an emphasis on polygraphy, which visually resembles a postcard – people buy them when they travel and collect them as memories of the city they visited.
